Lower Eyelids Atlanta
Lower eyelid surgery is designed to correct puffy or baggy eyes to create a refreshed, more youthful look. This procedure improves the eyelid cheek junction, which may involve the repositioning or resectioning of fat and excess skin. Lower eyelid surgery may be performed either alone or in tandem with other procedures, as patients who have more extensive malar bags or descent of the cheek may also benefit from a check or midface lift.
Dr. DiFrancesco specializes in lower-eyelid or oculoplastic surgery and uses advanced canthal anchoring techniques such as canthopexy or canthoplasty to help you meet your aesthetic goals. Schedule a consultation with Dr. DiFrancesco today by calling 404.377.3474 or contacting us online.
Lower eyelid surgery is an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. Patients may be sensitive to light after surgery, and we recommend that you abstain from wearing contacts for approximately two weeks. Many of our patients return to normal activity in one to two weeks and resume full activity in four to six weeks.
