ThermiTight Procedure
ThermiTight often takes between 1-2 hours to complete in our Atlanta office. First, a topical anesthetic is administered to the treatment area so that you can be comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedure. Then, a very small incision is made, through which the specialized, thin wand is inserted. This device administers radiofrequency energy at the same time as monitoring heat for controlled treatment. As the wand is inserted under the surface of the skin, it causes the underlying tissues to gently contract before it’s removed. After treatment, you can return home.

You can expect some mild swelling and redness after ThermiTight treatment, although these usually resolve within a few days. Most patients take one or two days away from work or social engagements. During this time, you should wear a custom-fitted compression garment to reduce swelling and aid in tissue contraction. Over the following weeks and months, you’ll begin to see a reduction in the appearance of sagging and folds as the skin contracts and builds new collagen.
